COL’CACCHIO PIZZERIA MEAL VOUCHERS COMPETITION -TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These rules apply to the COL’CACCHIO PIZZERIA meal vouchers competition (hereinafter referred to as “the competition”). This competition is being run by: The South African Avocado Growers’ Association (SAAGA) with company registration number: PBO 140000144. Please contact us on info@subtrop.co.za or 015- 306 6240 (weekdays during office hours 07h45 – 16h15) if you do not understand any part of these rules or if you have any questions about these rules or the mechanics of the competition.

By entering the competition, you confirm that you have read and agree to be legally bound to these rules.

1. WHEN DOES THE COMPETITION START AND END?

The competition runs from 1 July 2016 up until 31 July 2016. This is the competition period. SAAGA reserves the right to extend the duration of the competition, subject to these terms and conditions.

2. WHO MAY ENTER THE COMPETITION? (WHO QUALIFIES FOR ENTRY INTO THE RANDOM DRAW?)

All persons, including South African Citizens and Foreign Nationals over the age of 18 years may enter the competition. You must also have complied with all competition mechanics which are elaborated on in the “How to enter” section (point 4).

3. WHO MAY NOT ENTER THE COMPETITION

4. HOW TO ENTER?

Entrants/participants are required to order any dish with avo or add extra avo to your salad, pizza or pasta at COL’ CACCHIO PIZZERIA. Entrants / participants are then required to take a selfie with their avo meal. Lastly you must post your selfie to the ILOVEAVO’S Facebook page!

5. PRIZES

One entrant stands a chance to win a R400 COL’CACCHIO PIZZERIA meal voucher each week during the competition period. One winner will be selected randomly each Friday during the competition period i.e. 8, 15, 22 and 29 July 2016.

6. HOW WE WILL DELIVER YOUR PRIZE TO YOU OR HOW YOU CAN COLLECT OR CLAIM YOUR PRIZE

The prizes will be delivered to the winner via courier. The organisers will contact the winners via private message on the @ILoveAvos Facebook page to obtain details.

7. HOW WILL WINNERS BE NOTIFIED?

Winners will be notified via the IloveavocadoSA Facebook page for the duration of the COL’CACCHIO PIZZERIA meal vouchers Facebook competition.

8. WHAT HAPPENS IF SAAGA CANNOT CONTACT THE WINNER OR IF THE WINNER IS NOT ABLE TO TAKE UP THE PRIZE?

If SAAGA is unable to get hold of any prize winner(s) within 7 (seven) days after the prize announcement date, SAAGA will select another winner/s and the prize will be awarded to the lucky winner who has met all the conditions of the competition rules.

9. GENERAL

SAAGA has the right to end this competition at any time. If this happens, SAAGA will publish a notice on Facebook and you agree to waive (give up) any rights that you may have about this competition and acknowledge that you will have no rights against SAAGA.

SAAGA reserves the right to change the rules of the competition. SAAGA will publish changes on SAAGA’s website: www.avocado.co.za and SAAGA’s Facebook page: IloveavocadoSA

For convenience only, the date on which these rules were last amended is shown above. It is your responsibility to check the websites for amendments to these rules.

The participant agrees not to hold SAAGA legally responsible for any discrepancies or errors caused due to the software and/or handset a participant used.

The participant will not hold SAAGA liable for any technical errors originating from the SAAGA hosting website, (Facebook), network suppliers and other service providers.

Participants are responsible for any data, cell-phone or any other charges necessary to enable participants to gain the necessary network or internet access to be able to access Facebook to enter the competition.

You can find out who has won a particular competition by sending an email to morongwa@protactic.co.za after the closing date.

Any Facebook promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are disclosing your information to SAAGA and not to Facebook. By participating in this promotion you release Facebook from any and all liability in relation to the promotion.

The prizes are not exchangeable/transferable for any other prize.

The prize will not be transferable to another person.

If an advertised prize is not available, we reserve the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.

No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason, including technical and IT reasons. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.

By entering the competition the winner agrees to participate in such promotional activity and material as SAAGA may require

The selection of winner’s will remain final. Any matter concerning the competition and/or arising out of these terms and conditions is final and binding on you, and no correspondence will be entered into.

SAAGA will endeavour to send prizes within a month of the competition end date but cannot guarantee this delivery time.

The Promoter and third party suppliers reserve the right to vary, postpone, suspend, or cancel the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which we deem necessary. In the event of such variation, postponement, suspension or cancellation, entrants agree to waive any rights, interests and expectations that you may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that you will have no recourse against the Promoter, their affiliates and third party suppliers.


SAAGA CHEF SCHOOL CHALLENGE 2016

Please ensure that you read the terms and conditions

  1. Students need to make a simple meal creation whilst adding an avo as the ultimate topping
  2. During the month of June / July the South African Avocado Growers’ Association (SAAGA) will deliver Ripe & Ready avocados to the participating schools on a date specified by the schools- one avocado per student who replied to our invitation will be issued
  3. Participating students must use one avocado for their meal creation
  4. Avos must be the clearly visible as the main topping of a simple dish and students need to have a short description of their dish (E.g. burger with avocado or guacamole topping)
  5. Please bear in mind that appearance will get you more likes on Facebook
  6. No professional photography is allowed
  7. All meal creations must be supplied with photographs in high resolution (please resize so email does not exceed 3MB
  8. Entrants are permitted to submit more than one pic and meal creation (per student)
  9. Entrants are required to submit photos of their meal creations via e-mail
  10. The promoter will then upload the photos to the school’s specially created album on the IloveavocadoSA Facebook page
  11. E-mail will be the only acceptable entry mechanism
  12. Entrants who send photographs hereby agree to the posting thereof on Facebook
  13. Winners must be available for interviews with media if necessary
  14. No entrant may win more than one prize

 

PRIZE BREAKDOWN

  • The winning student- R2 000 in cash and a meal voucher from one of SA’s top restaurants to the value of R1 500 (restaurants to be confirmed, meal vouchers for restaurants will be based on the winners’ location, prizes do not include travel costs, prizes are not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other prizes)
  • The 4 Runner ups- R2 000 in cash each
  • The winning school’s album – R10 000 in cash
  • Facebook voters prize- R5 000 in cash

 

  1. R5 000 cash will be offered to a randomly selected Facebook fan, promoters and auditors decision will be final
  2. Winners of entries will be based on the most likes of specific entries and the final results will be tallied by the Promoter and auditor: IloveavocadoSA
  3. Closing date for entries is 1st August 2016
  4. Finalists and winners will be notified via email or telephone within 5 working days of the closing date. The winner must claim their prize within 5 working days of notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules. Delivery of prizes will be confirmed once winners are announced
  5. Winners will be announced on the 15th of August 2016 on the IloveavocadoSA Facebook page
  6. Winners will be contacted on the contact number they provided with the entry. If the entry was by e-mail only, the Promoter will be responsible to contact the winner by e-mail to get a contact number
  7. By entering this competition, each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions Copies of these terms and conditions will be made available to participants via email, on request
  8. This competition is open to any student chef and culinary school in the Republic of South Africa, with the exception of any person who is a director, member, partner, employee or agent of the promoter, any consultant to the promoter, as well as any family members of the promoter’s employees, and any other person who is controlled by the promoter.
  9. The promoter and third party suppliers reserve the right to vary, postpone, suspend, or cancel the competition and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which is deemed necessary In the event of such variation, postponement, suspension or cancellation, entrants agree to waive any rights, interests and expectations that you may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that you will have no recourse against the Promoter, their affiliates and third party suppliers.
  10. The Promoter and their affiliates will not be responsible, and disclaim all liability, for any loss, liability, injury, expense or damage (whether direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential) of any nature, whether arising from negligence or any other cause, which is suffered by the students participation in the competition or the acceptance and/or use by the student, or the students partner (if applicable), of any prize, or by any action taken by the Promoter or any of their affiliates in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  11. The South African Avocado Growers’ Association (SAAGA) and the judges’ decision on any matter concerning the competition and/or arising out of these terms and conditions is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  12. The participant will not hold the South African Avocado Growers’ Association (SAAGA) liable for any technical errors originating from the South African Avocado Growers’ Association hosting website, (Facebook), network suppliers and other service providers.
  13. Participants are responsible for data, cell-phone or any other charges necessary to enable participants to gain necessary network or internet access to be able to access Facebook to enter the competition.
  14. South African law shall govern these competition rules and the courts of South Africa shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  15. Should the South African Avocado Growers’ Association (SAAGA) feel that the competition rules need certain clarification, these will be available on the SAAGA website
  16. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason, including technical and IT reasons Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
  17. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You are providing information to the South African Avocado Growers’ Association( SAAGA) and not to Facebook.
  18. Where the participant indicates that they would like the promoter to contact them in the future, they agree that their relevant personal details will be held the South African Avocado Growers’ Association (SAAGA) and may be used by the same to send them information about the South African Avocado Growers’ Association (SAAGA) products and/or services.
  19. If in the future, participants do not wish to receive further communications from the South African Avocado Growers’ Association (SAAGA) and would prefer their details to be removed from its database, or if they simply wish to make corrections to their details or to how they receive communications from the promoter, they can inform the promoter in writing at e-mail
  20. It is the responsibility of the entrant and not of the South African Avocado Growers’ Association to ensure that the correct contact information is given, if the wrong contact information is given and the entrant cannot be contacted, the South African Avocado Growers’ Association will not be held responsible.
  21. The selection of the winners will remain final Any matter concerning the competition and/or arising out of these terms and conditions is final and binding, and no further correspondence will be entered into.

ALL OTHER COMPETITIONS

  1. Please read these competition rules carefully. If you enter one of our competitions, we will assume that you have read these rules and that you agree to them.
  2. To enter a competition you must be: (a) South African resident; and (b) 18 years old or over at the time of entry.
  3. Competitions are not open to employees (or members of their immediate families) of The South African Avocado Growers’ Association or any subsidiary of The South African Avocado Growers’ Association or their promotional agencies
  4. No purchase necessary.
  5. Only one entry is permitted per person.
  6. To enter a competition on The South African Avocado Growers’ Association website, you may enter via the website on the applicable competition page, or you can also send your entry detailing which competition you wish to enter, together with your name, address and e-mail address.
  7. To enter a Twitter competition, you will be required either to send a Twitter reply message to Iloveavos – www.twitter.com/Iloveavos or retweet Iloveavos competition tweet. These details will be outlined in Iloveavos competition tweet. To enter a Facebook competition, you will be required to enter www.facebook.com/IloveavocadoSA by messaging, commenting, sharing or liking our giveaway post as directed in the competition post.

  10. The prize and method of selecting the winner will be outlined in the competition details, whether on The South African Avocado Growers’ Association or social networks.
  11. The opening date and closing date are as specified in each competition, and The South African Avocado Growers’ Association reserves the right to amend the competition end date at any time.
  12. If you win a competition, we will notify you by post, e-mail, Twitter or Facebook. If you win a Twitter competition, you may be required to follow Iloveavos (www.twitter.com/Iloveavos) on Twitter in order to send your contact details via DM. Thereafter, you may choose to unfollow Iloveavos Twitter account. The judges’ decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. If you have won a prize you will need to claim the prize by responding to the request for further information. If you do not claim your prize within 1 week of notice you will forfeit the prize and another winner will need to be selected.

If we do this we will publish the amended competition rules and/or specific competition rules on the relevant competition page.
